Walking Tours of Japan

Our 2018 Walking Tours of Japan are designed for those who enjoy short walks (up to 7 or 8 kilometres per walk). The tours are also best suited to those wishing to avoid carrying large (heavy) backpacks. Our Walking Tours of Japan range from traversing some of Japan's most pristine nature to the less touristy but more interesting back streets of large cities. Along the way you will enjoy close contact with the Japanese people and their culture. The tours will show you some of the best icons and introduce you to specially selected and beautifully prepared Japanese food.

Had a fabulous time with a great group of people. I loved the country, the culture, the people and everything about the tour – hope to do another tour with JTTE – maybe Hokkaido or Kyushu next time

Vivien Hewitt, Western Australia

This was my first trip with JTTE and already I am looking at the program for next year thinking about another one. I liked the fact that it was a small group, the organisation was spot on and the food everywhere was outstanding.
